My work stems from interests, hobbies, and culture ties. I used to have a hard time thinking about the content of my artwork until I realized that I just had to take a good look at myself and see what makes me, me. The process for creating these designs and images are just mere references of things that have had a major impact in my life, whether it is an anime or a core memory with my family. Whether it is through an intaglio print or a painting, I just try to express who I am.
Artist Biography:
I am from Dallas, TX and my goal is to become a high school art teacher. My artwork is mostly focused on drawing and printmaking, and is heavily inspired by my family, my culture, as well as my personal hobbies. I really try to emphasize the fact that no one should be ashamed of their interests, nor where they come from- and that is the message I will try to express to my future students.
