Artist Biography:
Hello, my name is Beth Dixon, new to the Midland Texas art scene! I've been painting for years, however, I just recently retired from my real job so I can now focus my attention on the arts. Mixed media/abstract is my genre of choice. My paintings are inspired by the emotion or memory that arises when I'm listening to music. The abstract genre has neither theme nor object, just a feeling for me. I hear the music, and I paint.
