I think I choose to paint water because we’re stuck in the middle of a desert. I crave the smell of the salt and the constant noise of the wash crashing on the earth. I am very influenced by music. Whatever I listen to while I paint has to be a correlation to what I’m working on.
Artist Biography:
Oilfield worker by day and painter by night. I have a passion for painting water. I also have a few oilfield-inspired paintings of pumpjacks and rigs. I’d love to showcase my art! It’s such a passion of mine especially because I am self-taught.
