My art involves dark imagery and abstract surrealism. My inspiration stems from apps like Instagram and art books like Francis Bacon. I gather imagery like a collage and put them how I see fit. My oil paintings can be taken anywhere from 1 day to a month, maybe even longer due to my emotions towards each painting I do.
Artist Biography:
Alexx was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where she began her art journey by attending El Paso community college. Eventually moved to Odessa in 2018 where she completed and received an associate of arts degree at Odessa College. Artistry has always been in the family via father and grandfather thus painting being a strong interest since childhood. My goal is to bring new ideas and imagery through oil paintings and I’m other mediums as well. There is a variety in my art and I don’t like to stray from any challenge, I just need practice first.
